The global coronavirus pandemic (Covid-19) is having an impact on us all to a certain degree. SH&P is committed to maintaining the health and welfare of its staff and to minimising any disruption of our services. The UK Government moved from a state of containment to one of delay and we are now in the midst of a “lockdown”. The Government’s official approach and guidance to individuals and businesses will evolve rapidly over the coming weeks. SH&P will continue to follow this advice and we have also taken our own measures to mitigate the effect of the virus on our staff and clients alike.Click here for more Information
Ann joined the firm in 2014 bringing with her almost 20 years’ experience in the field of trade mark prosecution and management. Her career began in London in the Intellectual Property Department of a top 5 London law firm, where she qualified as a Trade Mark Attorney in 1998, before spending a further eight years as a senior Associate with a specialist global IP firm. She has represented clients of varying sizes, responsible for the management of a number of household brands in the food and drinks, clothing, television and tobacco sectors. Ann’s experience is broad, extending to all aspects of worldwide trade mark prosecution and portfolio management including global clearance searches, filing and prosecution as well as contentious opposition and cancellation work.
The demands of two rapidly growing children easily devour Ann’s weekends in a blur of football, tennis and (badly baked) cakes. However, their advancing years does mean that she is increasingly able to share with them her love of film (especially old movies).
